The classic traveller's dilemma: a clean shirt for tomorrow, no laundry service, no time to find a laundromat. So we built the bag we wished we'd had — a 300g fabric chamber that uses any hotel hair dryer as the heat source.
You've been there. It's day 3 of a 5-day trip, your only clean shirt is damp, the hotel wants €15 to wash it, the laundromat is 2 miles away, and you have a meeting at 9am. The existing options — electric travel dryers (heavy, slow, 220V-only), hang-drying (smelly, slow), laundry service (expensive, slow) — all fail in some way.
We realised: the heating element already exists in every hotel room. We just need to capture that hot air and route it through wet clothes in a sealed 60-litre chamber. No new electronics, no new power source, no new failure modes. Just a bag, a silicone collar, and 15–40 minutes. The hair dryers in most European hotels are fully compatible.
We tested 47 fabric weights, 12 zipper designs, 9 silicone durometers. The result: 300g total weight (lighter than a can of Coke), 60-litre chamber (95 × 45 cm open), 18 × 12 × 2.5 cm folded, works with any 1200W–2200W hair dryer, 15–40 min dry time. No built-in motor, no batteries, no heating elements, no proprietary cables. UKCA / REACH / CPSC certified. Hairdryer and hanger are not included.
