The classic traveller's dilemma: a clean shirt for tomorrow, no laundry service, no time to find a laundromat. So we built the bag we wished we'd had.
You've been there. It's day 3 of a 5-day trip, your only clean shirt is damp, the hotel wants £15 to wash it, the laundromat is 2 miles away, and you have a meeting at 9am. The existing options — electric travel dryers (heavy, slow, 220V-only), hang-drying (smelly, slow), laundry service (expensive, slow) — all fail in some way.
We realised: the heating element already exists in every hotel room. We just need to capture that hot air and route it through wet clothes in a sealed chamber. No new electronics, no new power source, no new failure modes. Just a bag, a collar, and 15 minutes.
We tested 47 fabric weights, 12 zipper designs, 9 silicone durometers. The result: 300g total weight (lighter than a can of Coke), 95% dryer compatibility, 15-40 min dry time, palm-sized. No batteries. No heating elements. No proprietary cables. UKCA / REACH / CPSC certified.
Since 2025, 100+ travellers across 47 countries have packed Wadewow. We estimate £2.4 million in hotel laundry fees saved (rough math: 12,000 bags × 20 trips/bag × £10 average). Our mission is simple: every traveller deserves a clean dry shirt, in any room, for free.
